Jewelry Care & Sensitive Skin
Jewelry Care Instructions
To help protect your jewelry, we suggest storing it in a plastic bag when you are not using it and keep it in a cool, dry location.
Avoid things like hairspray, suntan lotion, and other agents that may cause discoloration and/or damage to the material as well as the stones/gems/pendants etc. that are used.
Do not wear to bed, in shower or other bodies of water.
Sensitive Skin
If you have sensitive skin and jewelry gives you a rash, it is likely you have an allergy to nickel, cobalt, and other base metals.
Please note that most products in these collections are metal based.
It is suggested that a protective barrier is used like jewelry coating.
If not available, please do not wear jewelry overnight in order to avoid irritation.
Taking Care of Crystal Stone Bracelets
How To Keep the Elastic from Breaking/ Snapping
Put It on Properly
To keep your elastic bracelet in perfect shape, roll the bracelet over your hand stretching the elastic as little as possible. Don’t stretch it into a triangle and then put it on. This puts too much stress on the elastic and eventually it will snap.
Don’t wear it all the time or for every activity.
If you never take it off, it will be exposed to chemicals that will break down the elastic over time, eventually causing it to snap. Take it off when applying lotions or sprays.
Avoid wearing your crystal jewelry in chlorinated pools, hot tubs and the ocean. It can make the crystals appear dull and will wear the elastic down, causing it to snap.
Avoid wearing them in the shower. The soap can make them dull and the shampoo, body wash, etc. wears away at the elastic.
Avoid getting the bracelet caught on things.
Take them off when doing activities that could get them caught, like playing with your dog, kids, yard work, exercise, etc. You can reduce this by wearing them on your non-dominant hand.
How To Clean and Prevent Fading
Clean it with a microfiber cloth.
Use a microfiber cloth to wipe off any oils, dust or dirt that may accumulate while you’re wearing it. You can use a damp cloth, but don’t use any soap or cleaning chemicals.
Keep it out of direct sunlight when you’re not wearing it.
It’s okay if your crystals get exposed to the sun while you’re wearing them. That’s not enough time to cause them to fade. When you store them, keep them out of direct sunlight. Some crystals, like rose quartz and amethyst, fade when left in the sun too long.
